Annie Sloan Sanding Pads

Sanding is part of the process — and these make it the easy part. Annie Sloan Sanding Pads come in a set of three, one in each weight: fine, medium, and coarse. Between coats of lacquer, smoothing a rough surface before you start, or distressing a finished piece to reveal the layers underneath — there is a pad here for each of those moments.

What makes them worth having over a sheet of sandpaper is the flexibility. They are reusable, washable, and durable — they conform to curved surfaces and mouldings in a way that a rigid sanding block simply won't. Use them wet or dry. Rinse them out and use them again. They last.

How to Use Them

Use the coarse pad for surface preparation and heavy distressing, the medium for general sanding between coats, and the fine for a final smooth finish before or after lacquer. Can be used wet or dry — wet sanding gives a finer, smoother result on lacquered surfaces. Rinse clean after use and allow to dry.
