Annie Sloan Chalk Paint® Wax Brush

A cloth will apply wax. A wax brush will do it properly.

The Annie Sloan Wax Brush is designed to work wax into the paint rather than over it — the dome-shaped bristle head moves in circular motions, pushing into mouldings, carved legs, and recessed panels where a cloth just skims the surface. The result is a finish that is genuinely protected rather than just coated.

Small (No. 22) is the one to reach for on detailed work — compact, precise, and perfectly weighted for intricate surfaces. Large (No. 26) covers ground faster on flat panels, tabletops, and larger pieces without sacrificing control.

Both brushes share the same construction: pure natural bristle, silver ferrule, and the Annie Sloan name stamped into a chunky beechwood handle made for this kind of work, not for gripping and hoping. Proper tools, both of them.

How to Use
Load lightly — wax goes further than you think. Work in circles, wipe back the excess with a clean cloth, and buff to the finish you want. Always start with Clear Wax before any tinted wax.

Care
Wipe out excess wax after use. For a deeper clean, work mild soap through the bristles, rinse, reshape, and dry flat.
