If you've ever wanted to learn how to paint furniture properly — not just slap some paint on and hope for the best, but really understand how Chalk Paint® works, how to finish it beautifully, and how to get the result you actually had in your head — this is for you.
Online workshops are a natural extension of what we do here — a way to share the techniques, the process, and the joy of working with Chalk Paint® with people wherever they are. Whether you're in Perth, regional WA, or anywhere else in Australia, you're welcome here.
All workshops run live over Zoom, so you can paint along, ask questions, and get feedback as you go. I'm starting with a small, friendly rolling-pin workshop while I develop a broader techniques format for future sessions.
I've been painting with Chalk Paint® for years and I'm still excited by what it can do. These workshops are my way of sharing everything I've picked up along the way — the techniques that work, the mistakes worth avoiding, and the little things that make a real difference to the finished result. Because ultimately, I want to pass that knowledge on to you. I want you to fall in love with what paint can do, to look at a tired old piece of furniture and see the potential in it, and to have the confidence to make your home entirely your own.

Live Zoom Chalk Paint® Workshops
Rolling Pin Makeover Workshop — $150
A small, beginner-friendly live session for a maximum of three people. Your kit includes a wooden rolling pin, Annie Sloan Chalk Paint®, brush, wax, decals and everything else you need for the project. Choose from the available colours listed on the workshop product page, paint along with me, ask questions and get real-time feedback as you work.

Techniques workshops coming next
I'm also developing a more flexible techniques workshop where you can work on a rolling pin, small board, frame or another manageable project, with a colour chosen from the Annie Sloan paints I have available. That format will follow once the first workshop is underway.
One-on-One Zoom Session — $110
Sometimes you just need someone in your corner. This is a personalised coaching session built entirely around you and your project — your piece, your colours, your vision. Michelle will guide you through colour selection, technique, and finish, demonstrating on sample boards so you can see exactly how it's done before you pick up a brush.
After booking, Michelle will be in touch to arrange your session date and learn a little more about your project.
