Chalk Paint® Lacquer Gloss is a hard-wearing, UV-resistant, water-based varnish formulated specifically for use over Chalk Paint®, and the gloss finish adds a depth and luminosity to colour that is genuinely beautiful — particularly over the deeper, more saturated tones in the range.

It is the lacquer that transforms a painted piece from decorative to genuinely durable. UV-resistant and suitable for both interior and exterior use, it protects colour from fading, surfaces from moisture, and finishes from the wear that daily life inevitably brings.

How to Use Chalk Paint® Lacquer Gloss

Apply over fully dried Chalk Paint® using a flat synthetic brush or foam roller, working in long, even strokes in one direction. Two coats are recommended for full protection — allow each coat to dry fully before applying the next. Lightly sand between coats with a fine sanding pad for the smoothest possible finish. Do not apply over wax.
