Some mornings, it's the light out the window, a good cup of coffee, and the feeling that today, you'll make something beautiful....or at least give it a red hot go.
Where furniture, home, and life all meet.
If you've followed Revamped Revived Reloved for a while, you know me through the chalk paint, the gold leaf, and the quiet thrill of finding something forgotten — a piece that someone once loved, then left behind.
Somewhere in the turning of that, I started to notice something. It wasn't just about the furniture. It was about the feeling. That moment when you run your hand across an old timber surface and think — someone made this. Someone cared about this. And now, so do I.
I've always been a collector of home magazines. I genuinely love the beauty they hold. But I've also always collected things from the past — those old world objects that seem to have been forgotten with time. The ones no one wants or loves anymore. But I want them. I love them. And I want them to be cherished for the precious history and stories they hold — not discarded simply because they're old and out of fashion.
We all eventually become old and outdated. And to me, that's all the more reason to cherish and love these treasures from the past.
But I kept finding myself flipping through those glossy magazine pages — the massive renovations, the unlimited budgets, the kitchens that belong to no one I've ever met — and feeling like that version of a "curated life" wasn't really made for us.
So I decided to make my own.
